Jenny Duncombe
Jenny obtained her BSc Kinesiology with an exercise and sport major from the University of Saskatchewan and followed directly into the BSc Physiotherapy program, graduating in 2007. Jenny is a certified mat, reformer and chair instructor for STOTT Pilates. She specializes in development and early intervention for children. Jenny’s treatments are guided by an extensive knowledge of neurological and musculoskeletal development. She enjoys teaching graceful movement throughout the lifespan. She has a depth of physiotherapy experience that can appreciate care needs of people in all settings and all stages of growth and healing.
Jenny knows everyone comes to physiotherapy with an important story, and a different vision of success. The therapy you receive will involve discussions and collaborative goal setting, manual assessment and treatment of your condition and most critically the experience of functional movement that is pain and tension free. Whether you are an elite athlete looking for that elusive edge, or recovering from injury and looking to bring ease of movement into everyday life - Jenny can help.
Jenny has her R.A.D. Grade 7 ballet and experience in jazz, tap, and contemporary dance. Jenny is an actress and stage performer with a passion for singing. She is a lifelong athlete. There isn't a sport she hasn't tried:
In addition to a busy clinical caseload Jenny is a contract employee for the College of Physical Therapists of Saskatchewan ensuring new registrants have met readiness to practice standards. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Kelley Berting
Kelley Berting will be joining our team in January as a field work student from the University of
Regina. This placement is the final step towards completion of her Kinesiology degree with a
major in Human Kinetics. Kelley has been working in the field of fitness for 18 years as a
certified STOTT PILATES Instructor and Instructor Trainer. She is also certified through the
American Council of Exercise (ACE) as a personal trainer and is a Red Cross CPR/First Aid
Instructor. Kelley has a passion for helping others. This was demonstrated throughout her 25
year career as police officer with the Regina Police Service. Upon her retirement, she remains
dedicated to making a difference by helping others improve their quality of life through
movement. Kelley has a specific interest in injury prevention. She is excited to work alongside
Jenny and meet everyone in the clinic. When not studying or teaching pilates, Kelley stays
busy walking her furry twins, sibling Alaskan Malamutes.
